No one I've ever known has called Pahokee "Muck City"--maybe outsiders, maybe an ESPN reporter. To us, it's just the Glades. But now ESPN has coined the nickname in this report about a little-known sport that we all grew up watching: rabbit chasing. ESPN makes the connection from rabbit chasing to football legends. I wish they would have mentioned all the NFL and college stars that have come from my hometown or filmed less depressing areas...it's not really so god-awful as what it looks like.
